Exstream Software Announces General Availability of Dialogue Live for Intelligent, Interactive Document Applications

Press release from the issuing company

May 2, 2007 - Exstream Software, Inc. today announced the general availability of Dialogue Live, groundbreaking new software that provides companies with a common infrastructure for managing the editing of all types of interactive documents across the enterprise. Fully integrated with Exstream’s market-leading enterprise document automation Dialogue 6.0 software for high-volume and on-demand production of personalized customer communications, Dialogue Live is ideal for companies in all industries that want to provide customer-facing employees with the flexibility and autonomy they need to complete interactive, point-of-need, personalized documents for clients, while ensuring accuracy and costs are controlled through centralized production and fulfillment. Companies benefit by eliminating manual fulfillment processes and point solutions used by branch office employees, resulting in more productive employees, significantly reduced costs, less strain on IT resources, fewer calls to customer service, and happier customers, who benefit from more relevant, timely, and accurate communications. Sales representatives, agents, brokers, customer service representatives, and other branch office personnel can use the Dialogue Live Editor on their desktop or through a web browser to complete personalized correspondence, proposals, contracts, e-forms, and other types of interactive document applications designed and deployed in the Dialogue 6.0 design environment. Context-sensitive help and interview pages guide users through completion of the Live document. Certain sections pre-fill with pre-approved content according to what the user selects, while other sections allow the user to include personalized text and graphics. Automatic revision tracking and the “change review” panel speed the approval process. Edited documents can be processed by Dialogue 6.0 to drive fulfillment, update corporate systems, trigger events, direct the creation of other documents, or be used as content within other documents, which could be output in any format (such as AFP, PDF, and PostScript). "Much as Dialogue leap-frogged document creation technology when it was first introduced in November 1999, we believe Dialogue Live will change the way enterprises approach interactive document solutions," said Neal Gottsacker, vice president of product management for Exstream. "It is a much anticipated solution for speeding time to market of field-created communications, while allowing companies to control content, costs, and fulfillment at the corporate level. Four early adopter customers are already using Dialogue Live, and we have a strong pipeline that's been waiting for our generally available version. It is very exciting."
