Neenah Paper completes integration of Crane Fine Business Papers

Press release from the issuing company

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Less than three weeks after signing an exclusive partnership agreement with Crane & Co. to manufacture, market and distribute its fine business papers, Neenah Paper, Inc. has announced that the integration of the Crane's brands is complete and CRANE'S CREST, CRANE'S BOND, CRANE'S LETTRA, CRANE'S PALETTE and CRANE'S Choice Papers are now available through Neenah.

"Because Neenah Paper has been manufacturing 100 percent cotton paper for Crane for more than two years, we've been able to integrate Crane's fine business papers into the Neenah portfolio more quickly than we had anticipated," said Julie Schertell, vice president sales and supply chain, Neenah Fine Paper.  "We believe our long standing relationship with Crane and the capabilities of our two best-in-class companies will enable the transition to be smooth and seamless for our customers."

Neenah has manufactured 100 percent cotton business paper for Crane & Co. since 2007.  Through its initial partnership agreement with Crane, Neenah manufactured the paper, although Crane continued to market and distribute the paper.   The agreement signed on Aug. 27, 2009, was an extension of that partnership and allows Neenah to manufacture, market and distribute Crane fine business papers.

According to Schertell, the addition of Crane's fine business papers "will bring another meaningful brand with a recognized promise to the Neenah portfolio of premium papers and drive value in the category and the marketplace."

Distributors, designers and printers can now place orders for CRANE'S CREST, CRANE'S BOND, CRANE'S LETTRA, CRANE'S PALETTE and CRANE'S Choice Papers through their Neenah sales representative.
