Thunderhead and NEPS partner to help organizations modernize

Press release from the issuing company

Irvine, CA – Thunderhead, recognized innovators in document automation and multi-channel communications solutions, and NEPS LLC, a leader in communications management strategy, software and consulting services, today announced a new partnership focused on assisting organizations that need a flexible, modern approach to personalized document composition. NEPS has added Thunderhead to its Fast2Market Software-as-Services platform for companies that prefer to outsource their technology infrastructures.

Based in Salem, NH, NEPS helps financial, insurance and healthcare organizations to "right size" their document architectures to fit both their corporate culture and production requirements. NEPS provides an extensive range of document automation technologies in a hosted environment, wrapped with a comprehensive menu of industry-tailored services and support.

Many organizations today are weighed down by legacy systems that compromise their ability to communicate effectively and control their document production and management costs. Because converting from legacy systems takes time and careful strategy, many companies need a way of moving applications to the latest technology offerings, while minimizing their capital costs.

Thunderhead NOW is based on open standards and integrates easily with existing
systems to support the creation and delivery of business process-enabled
communications. "When it comes to more complex, content-intensive, applications such as policies, contracts and letters that often require collaboration, Thunderhead offers a best-in-class solution," said Denise Miano, President and Chief Technology Officer at NEPS. NEPS also selected Thunderhead due to its unique separation of content, layout and business rules, unlike legacy systems that embed rules into the content of document templates.

"Thunderhead NOW is the only platform we've seen that truly brings document creation and delivery control directly into the hands of business users, while also providing security and tools for developers," Miano explained. "The fact that Thunderhead has XML at its core is also really appealing to our customers who have been challenged by limitations of migrating from proprietary technologies to open standards. We are excited about the opportunity to integrate Thunderhead onto our Fast2Market platform to support our customers' critical communications needs."

"NEPS has been a leading voice in the document process outsourcing industry, as well as a recognized design and technology leader in the vertical markets they serve. We are excited to work with NEPS to help organizations better engage with their customers across the enterprise," said Thunderhead CEO Glen Manchester. "This partnership will allow a broader array of clients to realize the benefits of a platform based on modern technology, which in turn will enable them to accomplish greater agility, efficiency and faster time to market."
