Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL, – Technique Group, a leading worldwide provider of Print MIS solutions to the graphic communications industry, today announced Church of Scientology International, CA is equipping its new, state of the art printing plant with the full Technique MIS system. The Technique MIS suite of applications will be used for everything from estimating, through order management, scheduling, inventory management, real-time shop floor data collection and job costing.

"In establishing our new printing plant we wanted to take advantage of the best printing technologies and management support systems currently available. We reviewed this carefully, and in fulfilling our management system needs we decided that Technique best fits our needs. We were particularly impressed by the seamless JDF integration with the Agfa Apogee suite, which we expect to realize major benefits" said Mollie Hoertling, Executive Vice President for Project Management. "As this is a new operation it was important to get the system up and running very quickly. The Technique system is very intuitive which makes it much easier for us to accelerate the implementation."

Technique CEO, Paul Cooper commented "The Church of Scientology is building one of the most impressive printing operations I have ever seen, and so it is a great complement to Technique and its staff that we would be selected to provide the plant wide management information system. The seamless integration from prepress, through the front office and to the printing equipment will provide amazing efficiencies'.
