WoodWing's Web-to-Print solution Brand Station now available

Press release from the issuing company

Zaandam, The Netherlands – WoodWing Software announced the launch of Brand Station at the end of July, a new extension to the WoodWing Enterprise Content Publishing Platform. The Web-to-Print solution is now available via licensing, as well as in a subscription model.

Managing the consistent use of its brand is a critical objective for any company. Resellers and employees work with unauthorized templates or create their own documents using the wrong fonts or logos. As a result, the look and feel of brochures, ads, letterhead or business cards is different and does not match the corporate design guidelines. A Web-to-Print solution like Brand Station limits the "freedom to design" and leads to a controlled publishing environment.

The advantages of Web-to-Print solutions are numerous. In addition to the brand consistency they provide, there is less repetitive and manual work to be done, resulting in considerable quality improvements, cost reductions and time savings. Web-to-Print solutions are used by print buyers as well as by marketing and human resources departments. For communication agencies and service providers, they are a means to broaden their service range, to strengthen the relationship and to offer the best price and highest quality to their customers.

Brand Station approach earns a positive response
Whereas most of the current Web-to-Print solutions are separate systems, Brand Station integrates transparently with WoodWing's Enterprise content publishing platform, simultaneously providing robust workflow, media asset management and multi-channel publishing. Brand Station is very easy to install and to use. Users only need a Web browser. As WoodWing's solutions are based on open-source standards, they are more cost-effective than most of the other products on the market.

Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software, says, "We are pleased with the very positive response Brand Station has received from the press, our existing customers and prospects. That validates our strategy to handle Web-to-Print as an integrated tier of the publishing process instead of as a self-contained application."

Free live Webinar explains the use and advantages of Brand Station
WoodWing offers free live Webinars introducing Publishing Products and Strategies. At the end of September, WoodWing evangelist Victor Cardoso will hold a Webinar about Brand Station. Attendees will learn how to create InDesign templates that can be customized via a Web browser by non-experienced users, how to offer alternate images for use in a template, and how to implement an approval-based workflow. More information about the WoodWing Webinars, the schedule and the registration form can be found at www.woodwing.com/en/Webinars.
