Lake Villa , IL - Burnishine Products, manufacturer of pressroom chemicals since 1887, has new owners.  The company was purchased recently from Weiman Products LLC by Grant Beck and Roger Giza, both of whom have long and successful histories in the graphic arts business.  Grant Beck is widely known as the former owner of the Baseline and Jomac lines.  Roger Giza has spent his entire career in the graphic arts industry, with a successful career at Baseline, Jomac, Van Son Holland Ink, and Spinks Ink.  Both are also currently involved with the Heath Custom Press and Ryno Rollers product lines.  In addition, Beck is the owner of 3 Sigma, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive stock for label printers.
 
Commenting on the acquisition, Grant Beck said: "Burnishine is an established brand, with a reputation for quality pressroom chemical products.  Roger Giza and I look forward to supplying Burnishine Products to their legions of loyal customers, and to making even more printers aware of the Burnishine value."  Roger Giza added: "Grant Beck and I are pleased to be associated with the Burnishine line, and are committed to broadening the use of Burnishine products around the world.  We plan to introduce additional products under the Burnishine name in the very near future."
 
Burnishine customers can continue to obtain their products through their usual channels.
 
Since 1887, Burnishine Products has manufactured a broad line of pressroom and related chemical products, including plate chemicals, blanket and roller cleaners, fountain solutions, and a line of related cleaning products.  All Burnishine products are manufactured in the United States.
