L2 announces new version of the Fuse lightbox

Press release from the issuing company

San Jose, CA -- L2, Inc., The Campaign Technology People, today announced the availability of the newest version of the technology provider's Fuse lightbox. Integrated with Fuse - L2's cross-media 1:1 marketing platform, the newest upgrade to the lightbox will allow L2's customers to more easily and precisely format documents for print, while allowing for greater flexibility in the design.

L2's Fuse platform allows its users to create highly personalized and targeted marketing communication via direct mail, email, personalized URLs and data collection websites while automating much of the process.

L2's latest version of the lightbox utilizes technology from Microsoft Silverlight to allow its customers to create richer applications in Fuse and more effectively leverage data collected from other marketing channels for variable data publishing.

"The new silverlight lightbox will make creating, editing and producing rich design applications for print a much simpler process. With these new capabilities, printers and marketing service providers, will be equipped to create even more personalized and targeted documents with laser-like precision." said Jon Oakes, Chief Operating Officer, L2, Inc.

As an on-demand web-based platform, L2 is able to make this upgrade available to new and existing Fuse customers automatically without any downtime.

"Our decision to adopt the Software-as-a-Service model was made very early to allow L2's customers to use the Fuse platform without the need for additional IT resources. The upgrade to the lightbox, together with L2's recent integration with Adobe Indesign keeps Fuse an industry-leading technology and resource for marketing service providers" said Wrich Printz, President and CEO, L2, Inc.
