Printing Industries' Color Management Conference is the premier training event on color management in the industry. Now in its 11th year, it has become renowned as the conference for beginners and experts alike, bringing together the who's who of the color management industry.

Printing Industries' Color Management Conference is perfect for industry professionals -- including digital photographers, graphic designers, publishers, art directors, packaging professionals, prepress managers, press supervisors, production managers, and quality control managers -- new to color management or experienced and looking to brush up on the latest and greatest technologies. Attendees will secure what they need to become better educated in complex color management technology.

New this year:
- Full Digital Track - This year's conference will have a full digital printing track for printers looking to hone in on color management for digital printing. This track is produced by the Digital Printing Council.

- Pre-Conference Session: Color Management Across Different Processes - This day-long session will touch upon sheetfed, flexography, web, and digital aspects of color management. Attendees whose job or process is multi-dimensional in terms of production will find this session very valuable.

- A New Pre-Conference Annual Off-Site Photo Shoot - This year's  pre-conference annual photography off-site photo shoot is presented with a new twist. This year, the shoot is open to all levels of photographers, from amateur to professional. In the afternoon all attendees will upload their files and learn to color manage them in the conference print lab. As an extra bonus this year, attendees have the opportunity to purchase individual photographs taken by their peers during the pre-conference session. All monies received from the photo sale will go toward the Print and Graphics Scholarship Fund.

If you are interested in submitting a speaking abstract for this year's conference, please contact Gwen Martin, conference manager, with your write-up by May 8, 2009 at [email protected].
