Valley Printing Produces Award-Winning Book

(PHOENIX) -- O’Neil Printing, Phoenix’s premier full service printer, in partnership with Sage Hill Publishing, a California-based publishing company, has been awarded the 2009 PubWest Book Design Gold Award in the Gift/Holiday/Specialty Book category for superior design and outstanding production quality.
 
The award winning book, produced by O’Neil Printing, is titled One Vintage and tracks the process of farming grapes at a vineyard in Southern California. The book boasts a unique cork hard cover, with 112 pages of content and 39 color photographs inside.
 
The PubWest Book Design Awards, hosted by the Publishers Association of the West, were developed to recognize books with outstanding design and production. This year, there was increased participation with more than 100 entries being judged on typography, jacket/cover design, interior design, format, selection of materials used, and printing and binding production quality. This year’s winners were recognized among 18 different categories.
 
PubWest Book Design Award winners will be recognized at PubWest’s National Publishing Conference in Tucson, Arizona at the Doubletree-Reid Park, Nov. 12-14, 2009.
