Shaw Industries selects WorkflowOne as strategic supplier

Press release from the issuing company

Dayton, Ohio, - WorkflowOne, one of the nation's leading providers of managed print and promotional marketing services, today announced that it has been selected as strategic partner for branded promotional products by Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a leading provider of floor covering products. Shaw Industries and several of its sister subsidiaries will take advantage of WorkflowOne's world-class sourcing and fulfillment capabilities, supported by the company's managed services expertise and proprietary technology.

"After a very comprehensive study of each company participating in the bid, the unanimous decision was made in favor of WorkflowOne," said Betty Henderson, Team Lead for the Promotional Goods Category for Shaw Industries. "WorkflowOne's presentation, spirit of cooperativeness and the 'can do' attitude exhibited by each member of the team, along with their superb creative services, made our decision process easier."

Shaw Industries will use the company's proprietary e-commerce portal, WorkflowOneAccess, as a common platform for procurement, logistics and inventory management across its multiple companies, ensuring even greater savings among its employees. WorkflowOneAccess also allows them to decentralize order entry among its subsidiaries, for their convenience and brand integrity, while maintaining centralized purchasing and cost control.

"Time and again, our customers have seen the tremendous value that comes from using technology and centralized sourcing to give their end-users choice and convenience while maintaining corporate control," said Kevin Kearns, Chief Sales Officer for WorkflowOne. "We're delighted that our long-term relationship with Shaw Industries has expanded to include sister companies who will also look to WorkflowOne for help in controlling their brand-related spend."

In 2008, ASI and Counselor magazine ranked WorkflowOne as the country's 13th largest supplier of promotional products, a dramatic jump from the 26th position held in 2007. Also in 2008, two of its executives were named to Counselor's Power 50, an annual ranking that recognizes the most influential leaders in the promotional products industry.
