Xerox and Premier Partners Team to Educate Creative Agencies on Digital

Press release from the issuing company

(November 11, 2008) - Three members of the Xerox Premier Partners Global Network recently staged workshops for creative agency customers on the business advantages of digital printing, featuring speakers from Xerox Corporation.

Budco, Highland Park, Mich.; LithExcel, Albuquerque, N.M.; and CCG Marketing Solutions, West Caldwell, N.J., all engaged Xerox executives at their educational seminars. Xerox’s Premier Partners program is a global print network of leading digital print providers, totaling nearly 800 members from 48 countries.

“Budco, LithExcel and CCG Marketing Solutions share with us a passion for educating creatives about ways that digital printing can improve their clients’ businesses,” said Bob Wagner, vice president of the Creative Services Business and the Premier Partners Program, Xerox. “These were very positive meetings, with nearly everyone recognizing potential benefits from deploying digital print.”

The Budco event, “The Digital School That Rocks”, was held Sept. 16, targeting representatives from the area’s advertising agencies. Gavin Jordan-Smith, vice president and general manager, Worldwide Commercial Print Industry, Xerox, presented on urban myths commonly associated with digital printing. He explained that image quality, price, and availability of substrates and data for variable printing are no longer barriers to digital adoption. Additional information from this event can be found at http://www.budco.com/jsp/news/whitePaper.jsp.

On Sept. 29 and 30, LithExcel held its workshop for creatives, marketers and business owners featuring two Xerox speakers. Tom Wetjen, vice president, Worldwide Graphic Communications Business, Xerox, spoke on relevant external and internal communication that improve business results. Wagner followed with a discussion of how variable-information printing can help companies create such relevant communications.

And on Oct. 2, CCG Marketing Solutions delivered a workshop on digital printing where Wagner presented on the benefits of digital printing, demonstrated through real-life case studies.

These are part of the numerous events Xerox participates in yearly as part of its ongoing effort to provide the latest information on digital printing to members of its Premier Partners group.
