PrintechPlus Invites Success with XMPie Cross-Media Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

(November 12, 2008) PrintechPlus, one of the nation's premier offset and digital printing companies, is leveraging XMPie, Inc. software to create highly-targeted and integrated multi-channel marketing communications. With XMPie PersonalEffectTM, uImage, Response URLs (rURL) and uProduceTM Marketing Console, the Salt Lake City-based company uses one solution to create, deploy and track one-to-one cross-media marketing communications featuring vibrant personalized images and Web pages.

PrintechPlus turned to XMPie software to create attention-grabbing invitations for its 20th anniversary open house. The company used XMPie's PersonalEffect cross-media solution with uImage image personalization software to create a direct mailer that incorporated personalized images, text and graphic effects entirely unique to each recipient. These same images and text were also applied to personalized Web sites where recipients visited a rURL to RSVP, update contact information and register for an iPod giveaway.

PrintechPlus found that cross-media campaigns are significantly more effective than standard static invitations. The highly-personalized direct mail piece generated interest and drove traffic to the rURLs. The interactive nature of rURLs not only provided RSVP capabilities, but also enabled PrintechPlus to track page landings and, through XMPie's uProduce Marketing Console, measure and chart the invitation's effectiveness. The Web site also provided a printing personality survey, which allowed PrintechPlus to gather valuable customer information, like document printing preferences, to leverage in future communications.

PrintechPlus' personalized invitation campaign was such a success that the company plans to use XMPie's cross-media offerings for other upcoming customer outreach programs.
