Press release from the issuing company

CHESTNUT HILL, MA -- November 5, 2008 -- Growing business challenges and shrinking print buying budgets setting you on edge? Learn to keep your career on track in a fast-changing market at Boston Print Buyers? (BPB) first Brainstorming Session on Wednesday, December 10th. The free-flowing discussion of hot industry topics will connect print buyers, designers, decision-makers and related industry pros with proven strategies for print buying success. The meeting will take place at the Doubletree Guest Suites Boston/Waltham, 550 Winter St., Waltham, from 6-8:30 pm. Dinner and drinks will be served.

Graph Expo Feedback

The first-ever BPB Brainstorming Session follows the highly successful Buyer Brainstorming Session led by BPB and Print Buyers International founder Margie Dana at the recent Graph Expo in Chicago. There, Dana said, buyers exchanged ?tons of ideas? about print industry changes and the impact on their careers.

?When I saw the overwhelmingly positive response to our Brainstorming Session at Graph Expo, I knew we needed to introduce the format here,? says Dana. ?I think print buyers everywhere are eager to talk about how their jobs are changing and what?s happening with the print industry today. The December BPB dinner meeting in Waltham will be the perfect place for print buyers to connect around shared opportunities and challenges.?

Discussion Topics

Dana, who works closely with both purchasers and producers of print, will facilitate the December 10th discussion. Topics to be covered will include:

- Career growth for professional print buyers;
- Self promotion for print buyers;
- How to educate colleagues about new print technologies;
- Best buyer resources;
- Creative cost-cutting ideas.

Highlights of the session will be compiled into a Wrap-Up Brainstorming Document and provided FREE to all Brainstorming Session attendees.

The interactive format of the upcoming Brainstorming Session is sure to generate lots of lively discussion and great new ideas. ?People who buy printing are creative by nature,? Dana says. ?If you purchase printing, you?ll want to learn how successful print buyers are transforming their careers for the challenges of today."
