Cohoes, NY (August 05, 2008) – Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. announces the winners of the second-quarter Strathmore Letterhead Competition.
"I am continually impressed by the identity work being done all over the country and outside the U.S. It's fresh and we are continuing to see many larger-scale programs that include traditional applications such as business cards and stationery, as well as more creative applications like unusual notecards and compelling folders," says Laura Shore, Senior Vice President Communications.
Winning pieces are posted on Strathmore.com and all entries are entered into the Mohawk Show.

About the Strathmore Letterhead Contest
Submissions
Entries may be submitted by designers, printers, merchants, and by Mohawk representatives on behalf of their customers. The Strathmore Letterhead Contest accepts entries of letterheads alone, or complete identity systems including envelopes, business cards, mailing labels, pocket folders, and/or any additional pieces. Entries are produced on any of the Strathmore premium writing papers including, Strathmore Pure Cotton, Strathmore Writing, and Strathmore Script. Completed entry forms must be accompanied by 15 samples of each submission.
To further recognize each submission, all entries are automatically entered for judging in that year's Mohawk Show.

Prizes
Designers who enter are eligible to receive one of three quarterly cash prizes: $150 Bronze, $300 Silver, or $500 Gold. In addition, there will be an annual Grand Prize of $1,000 chosen from the four Grand Prize winners for that year. Prizes are also awarded to the first 25 designers who enter each quarter. These prizes are based on the grade submitted and will change each quarter throughout 2008.
Printers will receive a special prize for every entry submitted. The prizes will change each quarter. In addition, a distinctive award will be given to the designer, printer, and client for each winning entry.
Judging
The Strathmore Letterhead Contest will be judged by Mohawk representatives. Entry deadlines and judging dates are as follows:
