President of DIG to Keynote Northeast Regional Print Management Conference

Press release from the issuing company

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. (Aug. 12, 2008) — With print demand constantly evolving, print and graphic communications business executives want to know “How can I grow sales in today’s market?”

Fortunately for attendees to the 2008 Northeast Regional Print Management Conference, Kate Dunn, a national expert with more than 30 years of experience in helping businesses boost sales, will provide some answers.

Dunn is one of several speakers slated to deliver industry presentations at the leading annual industry conference for printing and graphic communications executives across the Northeast. She is president and founder of Digital Innovations Group, a Richmond, Va.-based marketing services firm that has accumulated a record of helping clients increase sales of digital print reproduction through use of variable data printing and multi-channel marketing efforts.

Dunn has helped clients grow sales — and profits — by showing business leaders how print produced by digital technologies is much more of a value-added business where price is driven more by the services provided than by the actual printed goods that are manufactured. The value-added services created by marrying digital print reproduction with database management or used in conjunction with multiple media often lead to higher response rates, capturing new customers or increased buying through existing customer bases.

Dunn has led client efforts that have netted response rates in excess of 52 percent, and in some cases, revenue increases of 34 percent.

Dunn will also lead a separate workshop on cross media campaigns. Her presentations are just two of seven planned over the three-day conference, which includes ample time for golf and other companion activities.

This year’s conference is scheduled for Sept. 21-23 at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, located in Whitefield, N.H. in the heart of New Hampshire’s majestic White Mountains. The conference is hosted by Printing Industries of New England and co-sponsored by two regional trade association affiliates, Printing Industries Alliance serving New York State, and Graphic Arts Association serving Pennsylvania.

Conference sponsors include Adobe, EFI, Heidelberg, HP, KBA, Komori, Mitsubishi, United Insurance, Utica Insurance, and Xerox. For information, contact any association or visit www.pine.org/PMC/2008/agenda.htm. PINE can be reached at 1-800-365-7463.
