Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, MA – July 22, 2008 – RISO, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high speed color inkjet printers and duplicators, today announced that its EZ series of digital duplicators received two of BERTL's Best 2008 Awards.  BERTL, a leading independent testing facility for digital imaging devices and workflow solutions, created the Best Awards to recognize the most innovative and highest quality products in the printing industry.  As part of BERTL's 13th Annual Awards, the RISO EZ series was named "Best Cost Effective Duplicator Series" and "Best Digital Duplicator for the Office and Educational Market."

"We are very proud to be recognized twice by such an independent and leading organization as BERTL," said David Murphy, Vice President of Marketing for RISO, Inc.  "Our digital duplicators have a history of offering our customers a better, more efficient alternative to traditional photocopying.  Industry-wide accolades such as these awards from BERTL for our recently launched EZ series demonstrate that not only are our new products continuing this tradition, they are setting the benchmark for other printing technologies in the industry as well."

With their adaptability and easy-to-use design, RISO's digital duplicators reduce operating and capital costs, which have earned the entire product line the distinction of an ENERGY STAR rating for low energy use.  The EZ models are designed to meet the needs of organizations that require versatile spot color and monochrome printing while also being cost-effective.  Hundreds of thousands of customers currently use RISO digital duplicators as production printers in high volume environments.
