Vistaprint Now Offers Custom Websites In Additional Markets

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Press release from the issuing company

(July 29, 2008) VistaPrint Limited, the small business marketing company, today announced the expansion of its popular custom Website product to non U.S. markets. In today's fast-paced, global business environment, it's imperative that every small business have a Web presence. VistaPrint's Website solution gives small businesses the chance to quickly create a professional looking site that can be matched to existing marketing materials in just minutes. Developed specifically for the non-technical user, the design tools are simple and give even those with limited computer knowledge the chance to get online fast.

"Having a Website in today's online world is vital for small businesses not only in the U.S. but around the globe," said Associate Product Marketing Manager Elise Rhoads. "Customers in the U.S. have been responding positively to VistaPrint's Website offering and we know customers from other countries can benefit from this offering as well. We're excited to offer this product in additional countries and look forward to expanding it to more markets."

The Website tool was built internally by VistaPrint's highly-talented software engineers and is unique because it was designed to be easy to use for non-technical customers. Because small businesses don't have time to invest in learning the ins and outs of Web design, VistaPrint created over 250 designs that match the company's most popular business card and postcard designs. Customers can choose from one of these templates to get started, or map previously ordered business cards or postcards automatically to their site design, creating on-line and off-line brand consistency.

VistaPrint's unique site builder automatically fills in copy and key messages to help get users started then customers have the ability to edit the messages, themes, and text as they wish. Text on pages can be easily edited and formatted and images can be added and moved around effortlessly. Customers can have an "About Us" and "Contact" page, add maps or even have a feedback form that sends information gathered from customers directly to their email.

VistaPrint offers a number of packages with the Websites based on a customer's needs. For example a starter package includes hosting and customer support for a very low monthly fee. A standard package which includes a top level domain, more pages and memory is also available, as is a professional package, which includes premium customer support, unlimited pages and extensive bandwidth. Customers can choose whichever package fits their needs and can upgrade at any time. The first month is free with all packages.

VistaPrint's 19 Websites are localized for languages and currencies including: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, European Union, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States. As of now, VistaPrint's Website offering is available though VistaPrint's German, Canadian, French, British, Dutch and American Websites.

In addition to Websites, VistaPrint offers small businesses peace of mind by providing everything they need to market their businesses. Products include high-quality and low-cost printed products such as business cards, brochures, calendars, custom postcards, and return address stamps; promotional apparel including hats and T-shirts; and marketing services such as copywriting, design and postcard mailing. The company also offers a number of helpful videos and articles on marketing their small business in their virtual Learning Center.
