printjunkie.net has International Pull

Press release from the issuing company

Alexandria, VA – July 29, 2008– printjunkie.net has made an international impact on the printing industry. The new social networking site, officially launched July 17th by the Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA), has caught the attention of printing professionals worldwide.

Nicholas van der Walle, director of Astute Graphics in Limited, England said "The print industry can appear rather remote and traditional, so the appearance of a new on-line community for those in it or involved with this area of work has been very welcome. Even though the site has only appeared relatively recently, the mix of members is of great benefit not only to genuinely network but also to relax a little. printjunkie.net is very accessible and flexible, allowing users to post ideas, ask questions, and interact directly with those in the know. As it grows, it will continue to build on the wonderful foundation already laid down by PSDA."

printjunkie.net already claims members from neighboring Canada and South America and reaches as far as the Ukraine, United Kingdom, China and Israel.  "Printing is a very strong, viable, international industry. As printjunkie.net continues to grow, we expect to see many more nations represented," said Peter Colaianni, CAE, executive vice president for PSDA.

Several sub-groups, including UK Jacks, Dutch Junkies and Print Solutions Brazil, have already assembled on printjunkie.net. These groups connect printing professionals geographically, offering another means by which professionals can discuss common interests.

In a little over a week of operation, printjunkie.net is steadily approaching 1,000 online members.  This website is non-restricted and anyone with an interest in growing their contacts, knowledge and online community is welcome to join.
