Canadian Printing Resources Converts to CtP

Press release from the issuing company

(May 22, 2008) Fujifilm Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the recent installation of a processless CtP solution at Canadian Printing Resources Inc., an FSC certified trade printer located in Toronto.  Canadian Printing Resources explored a great variety of options for their first generation CtP before deciding to go with Fujifilm Javelin 8300S with Pro-T plates, Trueflow workflow, and Epson 9880 proofer.  Joe Fiorillo, the owner, said, “We had specific needs.  We were looking for a reliable and supportive supplier for our first CtP that would image 40” plates, and it also had to be environmentally friendly.” Referring to his decision, Mr. Fiorillo said,  “I was very pleased with the smooth integration both at prepress and pressroom levels.  We were anticipating a 6-month’s conversion period, but we completely switched over to CtP in only 30 days”.
