Press release from the issuing company

(May 22, 2008) The three leading Swiss media enterprises - Ringier, NZZ and Edipresse - merged their commercial printing companies to form the largest group in the graphic arts industry: the Swiss Printers AG. This network of companies contributes to their clients’ success by offering with comprehensive, high quality media creation activities across a range of types, including: Printing, pre-media, cross-media, finishing, direct marketing, publishing and publishing services. Printing technologies offered include: rotogravure, web and sheet offset as well as digital printing.

„rincomail.” is the flexible and powerful service provider for Swiss Printers’ direct marketing activities – offering technologically advanced and economical services using the latest generation of Nipson’s high performance digital printing  systems. “rincomail.“ invested in 2 VaryPress 200 in Twin Engine Duplex configuration running at 90 m/min. The continuous feed printers are able to print recto/verso in one production step – up to a media width of 520 mm and with a resolution of 600 dpi. Even non-standard materials and transponder applications can be printed, as well as sandwich and SESAM labels with protective foils, RFID-cards and much more. The 2 VaryPress 200s can process paper from 40 g/m² to over 200 g/m² without difficulty and therefore are ideal for cost-saving production of exceptional applications. For this reason „rincomail.“ is able to offer new possibilities to achieve  their customers’ creative concepts.

Ruedi Odin, Head of Data Management and Laser Printing at „rincomail.“, talks about their reasons for investing in the Nipson systems: “First there is the print speed of 90 meters per minute, then the media width of 520 millimetres with a print width of 467 millimetres, and this recto/verso – that is unique in the Swiss market – and of course the excellent price-performance ratio was convincing.“
