Flint Group Announces Price Increases for publication inks

Press release from the issuing company

Plymouth, MI USA (20 May 2008) – Today, Flint Group North America Publication Inks Division announced price increases for all publication inks, effective June 1, 2008. The price increases range from 10% to 12% depending on product type. These increases are necessary to offset the continuing escalation of raw materials, energy and freight costs.

"We have taken extraordinary measures to reduce costs within our manufacturing and delivery operations and to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products to our customers. Since October 1, 2007, however, the North America Publication Inks Division has received over 100 raw material price increases from our global supply base," says Mike Green, vice president - general manager of Flint Group North America Publication Inks Division.

Green emphasizes that Flint Group continues to be committed to delivering high-quality products and services to meet customer needs within the publication ink market. Flint Group representatives will be contacting all customers in the coming weeks to discuss these price increases in detail.
