New York Daily News chooses NELA for automation

Press release from the issuing company

Three NELA Evolution High Speed Vision/Trim/Punch/Bending Systems will be able to process 320 single wide plates per hour per system. Each system will be connected to Krause/Fuji LS Jet CTP devices and Bluefin plate processor followed with a Multi-Position Plate Sortation System transporting plates into the press room. See attached layout.

The NELA Status Center and NELA Plate Sortation Software will monitor the entire system including CTP and plate processor and give feedback to the Krause/Wobe front end system.

"We are very happy to be part of this press project and be able to close the link between pre-press and press" says Jürgen Gruber, Director of Sales for NELA-USA.

The new project is planned to be running at the end of 2009.
