Denmaur Paper Releases new Swatches

Press release from the issuing company

Denmaur Independent Papers, one of the UK’s leading independent paper merchant groups, has produced two new swatches to celebrate the launch of their new grade Amadeus 50% Recycled and the group broadening the range of UPM Fine.

The new swatches, which provide detailed information on weights, sizes, environmental attributes and availability, have been printed on UPM Fine 300gsm and 110gsm, and Amadeus 50% Recycled Silk 300gsm and Silk & Gloss 150 gsm, and are labeled with Denmaur’s new environmental logo, “The Best of Both World’s Choice”, signifying that customers are not only getting a grade with excellent performance, but one that also has outstanding environmental credentials.

In the case of Amadeus 50% Recycled, this means being produced using 50% recycled fibre and 50% Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified virgin fibre.

UPM Fine is an uncoated paper, FSC accredited and produced at UPM’s Nordland mill which is certified to environmental management standards ISO9001 for quality and ISO 14001 & EMAS for the environment. UPM Fine also carries the EU Eco-label or EU Flower, which has been awarded to most of UPM’s mills, and is comprehensive proof of environmental performance of the paper, with strict regulations set on emissions and energy use.

With excellent printability, UPM Fine is a quality mid-range offset grade with good opacity and a high white shade. The grammage range is available in weights from 60gsm-300gsm, and in web fed and Cut Star reels from UK stocks in weights 70gsm-100gsm Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes accredited only.

Amadeus 50% Recycled is a new double coated paper manufactured in both silk and gloss finishes, with excellent printability. The manufacturing mill is accredited with ISO 9001 for quality and 14001 environmental standards. The new range is available in weights 115gsm-300gsm, with additional weights set to be added.

UK stock for both UPM Fine and Amadeus 50% Recycled is available from Denmaur Independent’s central hub warehouse in Bardon, Leicestershire, with 24/48 hour delivery service, whilst a samples and dummy making service producing plain or printed samples is also available upon request.
