Dscoop Poised for Successful Conference

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago – Dscoop expects to host more than 1,000 attendees and more than 60 partners at Dscoop4, its fourth annual conference that takes place Feb. 19-21, 2009, in Orlando. Anchored by an educational program that focuses on ways to survive and thrive in a recession, the conference will deliver training and networking opportunities led by industry experts and the vendor community to bolster business for Indigo owners and users.

"We cannot afford to sit back and do nothing during this economic crisis," said Dscoop Chairman Chris Petro. "As an organization, we are inviting more members into our community, including hundreds of Indigo owners from Asia-Pacific and Latin America who will attend Dscoop4. We are a cooperative, and we must band together and share our knowledge for the good of the industry."

"The most valuable part of the conference is the ability to meet with both our existing customers and potential new customers at an event where everyone is in attendance to learn and grow!" said Arie Abecassis, president of MindfireInc.

With strong representation from industry partners in this year's sold-out Solutions Showcase, HP Indigo users will be able to preview many new product releases for the first time, including the following products from Dscoop Platinum Partners:

There are several key enhancements available in FusionPro Web 6.12, including FusionPro VDP 6.0P1e Template Support and Automated Archive PDF Regeneration.

Many of Dscoop's Gold Partners will also present short educational sessions throughout the conference in the Solutions Showcase Theater.

Returning Partner Mohawk Fine Papers has been actively marketing digital papers since 1998 and sees great value in participating year after year. "The annual conference is a strong testament to the power of connecting users and suppliers to raise everyone's level of knowledge and foster sustainable growth," said Christopher Harrold, vice president of market development, emerging print technologies. "Dscoop4 is an essential part of our calendar."
