XMpie Announces PersonalEffect 4.5

NEW YORK Oct. 22, 2008 - With the latest version of its award-winning PersonalEffect one-to-one marketing solution, XMPie, Inc., the leading provider of software for dynamic publishing, strengthens its hold on the personalized print and cross-media industry by offering state-of the-art creative capabilities, while expanding the performance of its industry-leading solution. Combined with the recently released versions of its uStore Web-to-print solution and uProduce Marketing Console marketing analytics offering, XMPie's PersonalEffect 4.5 provides an uncompromised solution for the creation, deployment and tracking of one-to-one cross-media marketing campaigns.
 
PersonalEffect 4.5 marks its debut at Graph Expo, the most comprehensive graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas, from Oct. 26-29 in Chicago. A key element of this new release is U2 - a print production workflow harnessing XMPie's patented Gossiping Cluster technology for unmatched output stream generation speed in clustered or multiple instance configurations. With U2, XMPie enables its customers to enjoy robust print production capabilities without giving up state-of-the-art creativity.
 
PersonalEffect 4.5 also includes enhancements to make it even easier for users to offer and manage e-communications, including viral marketing and personalized response management landing sites, in a more structured and less technically demanding way.  With straightforward tools enabling viral refer-a-friend messages and helpful Response URL (RURL) creation wizards to develop fully-functional landing micro sites, users can simply provide clients with cutting-edge marketing communications that people respond to and pass along.
 
In addition, PersonalEffect now features enhanced integration with ExactTarget, a leading provider of on-demand e-mail marketing software solutions. It provides a fully-integrated view of campaign events in the e-mail channel through uProduce Marketing Console.  Users can view whether messages have been sent, received or opened, as well as whether recipients have decided to opt-in or out of receiving e-mail communications, providing a more complete view of an e-mail campaign's effectiveness.

Building on the new speed enhancements and e-communications capabilities, PersonalEffect 4.5 now enables new opportunities in variable data with Xerox Corporation's unique specialty imaging technology. Through the creation of variable microtext or "secret ink-like" florescent marks, PersonalEffect now enables users to deliver the added value of security, counterfeit deterrence or unique design options to documents produced by VIPP-enabled output devices.
 
Also, through a collaboration with PB Systems, PersonalEffect 4.5 is now open to connectivity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. Users can now use Open Text's Artesia or Xerox's DocuShare solutions with PersonalEffect for a single, "go-to" location for all electronic assets used in one-to-one campaigns. Connections to other DAM systems will be added in the future. Users with a more immediate need can work with XMPie to develop a custom solution.
 
PersonalEffect 4.5 will be launched in December 2008. You can see PersonalEffect 4.5, as well as all of the latest versions of XMPie's entire portfolio of scalable software solutions for variable data print, cross-media publishing, marketing portals and marketing analytics in booth #4851 at Graph Expo 2008 from Oct. 26-29 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. In its booth, XMPie is also featuring an animated personalized movie event. This fun and informative movie demonstrates the meaning of personalized cross-media marketing and the value of media and marketing integration, while incorporating elements that are personalized to individual show participants. Showings of XMPie's theatre experience will take place every half-hour starting at 10:30 a.m. daily. Tickets will be available at the XMPie booth registration center.
