Stora Enso introduces new coated digital papers at On Demand Expo

STAMFORD, Conn., April 16, 2007 – Stora Enso today announced at the On Demand Expo in Boston, the introduction of Productolith Pts. Digital to its coated digital paper lineup, as well as the expansion of its Futura Laser grade to include matte finish. About Productolith Pts. Digital Productolith Pts. Digital was developed to provide customers the option of high-quality, heavy-weight board for digital offset and production color laser printing that complements the other offerings in the well-known Productolith product line. Productolith Pts. Digital is guaranteed for digital offset and Xerox iGEN3 technologies, and is Kodak NexPress-qualified. It is available in the following options: - 10 pt. C1S in sizes of: S 17" x 11", S 18" x 12", S 18.125" x 13.375" and S 20.5" x 14.3" - 12 pt. C1S in sizes of: S 18" x 12" and S 20.5" x 14.3" - 10 pt. C2S in sizes of: S 17" x 11", S 18" x 12" and S 20.5" x 14.3" About Futura Laser Matte The addition of matte finish to the Futura Laser grade offers customers a wider choice in finish options, as well as greater contrast options for designs and applications that need a low-glare substrate along with exceptional printability and runnability for a variety of toner technologies. Futura Laser Matte is available in 80 lb. and 100 lb. text and cover, and is offered in sizes of S 18" x 12" and S 20.5" x 14.3". The matte finish, as well as the gloss and dull finishes of Futura Laser, are guaranteed for Xerox iGEN3 and digital offset technologies. They are also HP Indigo-certified and Kodak NexPress-qualified by the Rochester Institute of Technology. Stora Enso manufactures its digital papers with strict manufacturing quality control and precision cutting. In addition, Stora Enso’s digital products are vapor-barrier wrapped to lessen the amount of moisture than can absorb into the sheet, thus alleviating curl problems and jams.
