HP Launches Open House Road Tour

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 19, 2008 – HP today announced the HP Scitex Open House Road Tour, a series of events designed to help large format print service providers (PSPs) learn how to use HP technologies and solutions to grow their business.  

Throughout May and June, HP will be on the road showcasing its industry-leading portfolio of industrial large format digital printing solutions. Each event includes a program tailored to the specific needs of PSPs and to help customers build their competitive advantage and successfully pursue new, profitable growth opportunities.

The HP Scitex Open House Road Tour includes three scheduled events in five weeks, including the following:

- May 22, 2008: Visual Impact Open House – Minneapolis-based grand format digital printer and HP customer, Visual Impact, will open its doors for a special event focusing on UV printing, including billboards, building wraps, event signage, and vehicle wraps. Visual Impact will showcase their all-HP facility with a presentation about their business and demonstrations on the HP Scitex XP5100, TJ8500, and FB910 UV printers.

- May 28, 2008: Atlanta Demo Center Open House – HP will celebrate the grand re-opening of the HP Scitex Demo Center in Marietta, GA to showcase the latest additions to its industrial large format portfolio. The event will focus on HP leadership in flatbed technology, and include partner presentations, a display area showcasing exotic applications, and a customer panel discussion about the flatbed market.

- June 17, 2008: Burton Imaging Open House – This event will offer existing and prospective HP customers an inside look at the success of Philadelphia-based Burton Imaging, a wide- and super-wide format print service provider focused on providing ultimate print quality at the fastest turn-around time possible. Burton will demonstrate key applications, including point of purchase (POP) displays, fleet graphics, and outdoor graphics.
