Virtual Systems Releases Digi-Shop

Press release from the issuing company

Bellevue, Wash., May 19, 2008 – Virtual Systems announces the release of Digi-Shop, the newest addition to its family of business management software solutions for digital print, mail and fulfillment.

Digi-Shop is a management information system (MIS) designed specifically for organizations that do digital print and mail. Digi-Shop allows organizations that have digital print and mail operations to quickly implement solutions for job capture, digital print/mail estimating, work orders, postage tracking, inventory, scheduling, and integration with leading accounting/MIS packages.

Digi-Shop has the ability to combine digital print/mail/fulfillment onto a single estimate, work order and invoice. This helps users simplify their job administration by keeping track of all tasks for a job in one system. Data is captured on the shop floor by the operator with an easy-to-use biometric touch-screen kiosk that also doubles as a time-clock. Billing is then made easy with an interface to all the most common accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Peachtree. Additionally, Digi-Shop includes an innovative XML order-entry interface that can be used to automatically track and schedule print jobs that come in through Web-to-print applications.
