Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 16-Kodak's Print On-Demand Solutions Group announces a new set of workflow solutions for digital production printing to its OEM channels at drupa 2008.

"Our OEM customers, resellers, and print providers will benefit from best in class workflow products and solutions, based on open standards, backed by Kodak's technology and integrated with our CREO ColorServers," said Chris O'Connor, Director Global Accounts & Business Development, CREO Branded Products.

"OEM partners can grow their business and profitability by enlarging their solution portfolio and providing full end to end workflow solutions," O'Connor said. "Value added resellers in the industry will also see opportunities to offer these solutions to their customers by entering a business alliance with the Print On-Demand Solutions Group."

At Kodak's Stand D01, Hall 5, the new workflow products will be demonstrated as a simulation of a real print provider site. The print provider has complete visibility and control over for both static and variable data print jobs across the entire production cycle, including prepress and web-to-print solutions.

The demonstration shows tight integration between the various solution products within the workflow portfolio, as well as between these products and the family of CREO Color Servers, which provides effective gateway to a wide range of digital presses.

"Our strategy is based on open JDF standards. It is geared to develop automation between all elements of the print process; connect in a modular way an array of leading applications that are offered by the Print On-Demand Solutions Group or by other industry vendors," O'Connor said.
