CGS ORIS Receives Monitor Proofing System Certification

HAINBURG/MINNEAPOLIS MN, May 16, 2008 – CGS Publishing Technologies, the leading manufacturer of inkjet and soft proofing color management solutions, announces it has received the new Monitor Proofing Systems Certification from IDEAlliance for ORIS Soft Proof. Certification was received for Grade #1 GRACoL, Grade #2 SWOP and Grade #3 SWOP utilizing the EIZO CG241W and EIZO CG221 display.

IDEAlliance recently launched it's Monitor Proofing Systems Certification Program based on the ISO 12646 criteria (with recommended amendments) for luminance and monitor uniformity.

ORIS Press Matcher integrates with the Xerox FreeFlow Process Manager system to create a highly automated workflow solution to produce printed results supporting SWOP, GRACoL and Fogra standards and the G7 process. The color management tools of ORIS Press Matcher are combined with the automation of FreeFlow incorporating the automated spot color management and prepress tools of Process Manager to easily prepare files for print with the highest level of color accuracy.

All CGS ORIS products support SWOP, GRACoL, Fogra, ICC and G7 standards. Heath Luetkens represents CGS on all standards committees.
