GAA Announces Print COMM

Press release from the issuing company

(May 12, 2008) The Graphic Arts Association (Trevose, PA) announced that it will hold Print Comm, on June 11th  from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Print COMM is an opportunity for creative, marketing and communications professionals to focus on learning and networking  through a number of seminars and dozens of exhibit booths.  The event is hosted by the Graphic Arts Association (GAA), the printing and imaging industry trade association for Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

In a world where communication messages outnumber the population of the planet, effective communication is more important than ever.  Businesses must constantly be looking for creative ways to cut through the clutter and Print Comm 2008 is an event that offers a number of creative solutions.

Representatives from all stages of the printing industry (graphic arts producers through suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and distributors) will exhibit their capabilities to each other as well as hundreds of print buyers, creative directors, graphic designers, advertising and marketing executives, and anyone involved with marketing and promoting their business.

"We've gotten a lot of great feedback from both attendees and exhibitors in past Print Comms, formally the Print Buyers Expo.  Both groups have said its just a warm, friendly atmosphere where printers and print buyers can network and promote their business," Margaret Baumhauer, President, Graphic Arts Association, said.  "A lot of really valuable business relationships owe their beginnings to this event."

In addition to the 40+ exhibits, nine seminars designed to help printers and print buyers alike will be held throughout the day on topics ranging from cross media and multi-sensory communications tactics to green efforts in the printing industry and cost saving tips for mailings.

"We're looking forward to a great turnout this year." Ms. Baumhauer, said.  "There are a lot of opportunities for businesses in our related industries to learn ways to improve their businesses while also developing strong relationships for the future."

Exhibit Booths are still available and are $750 for GAA member and $1750 for non-members.  For attendees, there is no admission to enter the exhibit hall. Seminars are free for exhibitors and for those who pre-register.  On the day of the event, tickets to attend all seminars will be $25 at the door.
