GRAPH EXPO Earns Best-Ever Ranking Among Tradeshow Week's Top 200

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA - GRAPH EXPO, the annual trade show for the graphic communications industry, has earned its best-ever ranking of 42 among the Tradeshow Week 200, an annual directory of the top 200 largest trade shows held in the U.S.  Rankings for this prestigious recognition are determined by paid net sq. ft. of exhibit space.  The 34th edition of Tradeshow Week 200 ranked GRAPH EXPO based on its 2007 results, which welcomed more than 640 exhibitors in 460,984 net sq. ft. of exhibit space.  Previously, GRAPH EXPO 2006 appeared on the listing at No. 47.

GRAPH EXPO has long been recognized as the largest and most comprehensive graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Western Hemisphere.  This higher ranking by Tradeshow Week attests to the show's continuing growth and broad appeal to the many varied market segments that comprise today's graphic communications industry.

GRAPH EXPO 2008, to be held in Chicago's McCormick Place South, October 26-29, will feature hundreds of exhibitors with live "running" applications of the latest offset and digital technologies and software for commercial printing, creative services, quick printing, book printing and publishing, mailing and fulfillment, packaging and specialty printing, wide-format printing, enterprise/high-volume output printing and in-plant operations.  With more than five months to go until GRAPH EXPO 2008, 97% of the exhibit space has already been sold and nearly 70 educational opportunities have been lined up for show goers.

"It's an honor to be recognized by Tradeshow Week.  Our advanced ranking among the top 200 largest U.S. trade shows confirms what GRAPH EXPO exhibitors and attendees have known all along, that GRAPH EXPO is the marketplace for everything print, where show goers come each year to learn about the latest technologies, new business opportunities and best practices that will enable them to grow their businesses," said Ralph Nappi, President of GASC.  "GRAPH EXPO 2008 will be no exception, as it welcomes new market segments that will expose attendees to even more new business opportunities and ideas they can implement to improve their productivity and profitability," he added.

Highlights planned for GRAPH EXPO 2008 include exhibits featuring the latest trends in digital inkjet and wide format printing; the XPS Land Showcase; JDF Works Automated Print Shop; RFID and intelligent mail bar coding solutions; and, a new Print Buyers Forum designed specifically for today's advanced print buyer.

Attendees will appreciate the latest enhancements to GRAPH EXPO's online Attendee Assistant, which helps individuals plan their time on the show floor to maximum advantage.  The newest feature, 24/7 attendee networking, will connect buyers to vendors before, during and after the show, thus allowing them to easily gather information about the products of interest to them.
