Feiereisen Adds Saddle Stitching to Its Lineup

Press release from the issuing company

Cedar Rapids, IA (May 15, 2008)  – Feiereisen, Inc. proudly announces that it has added another capability to its extensive array of finishing services: Saddle stitching.

"We've always been a company that's listened to our customers," says Greg Ortmann, President of Feiereisen, Inc. "They told us what they wanted and we've recently brought on board a Mueller Martini saddle stitcher that's been installed and is up and running. This will help us compete for the abundance of stitching work we are seeing in the Midwestern marketplace."

Saddle stitching is the latest capability to join the expanding lineup of Feiereisen's finishing services, which includes die cutting, UV coating, laminating, Pa-VÉ Coating and AppareoFX.

The Mueller Martini saddle stitcher has 8-pockets plus a cover feeder and can accommodate multiple stocks for creating unique products. The minimum final trim size the stitcher can handle is 4" by 6" and the maximum is 11" by 17". This will enable Feiereisen to produce saddle-stitched products with foldouts, perforated reply cards and decorated covers.

"The reaction we've received from our customers to adding saddle stitching has been
fabulous and we believe there's good reason to be excited," says Ortmann.
