WAKE FOREST, N.C. -- Southern Lithoplate, Inc. has the distinction of being the only manufacturer of lithoplates to be recognized by the PAGE Cooperative's new Platinum Supplier Program. The Platinum Supplier award acknowledges outstanding achievement of Preferred Suppliers that have performed at a superior level throughout the past year.

Southern Lithoplate, a leading manufacturer of digital and analog lithoplates, received the Platinum Supplier designation during PAGE's annual member and supplier appreciation reception held at NEXPO 2008 in Washington, D.C.

The PAGE organization singled out 14 Preferred Suppliers for Platinum Supplier status. There currently are 124 members of the Preferred Supplier program. Recipients included workflow software developers, ink companies and manufacturers of printing-related equipment. Candidates were judged on various performance criteria.
