Take image personalization to the web! DirectSmile launches new DirectSmile Online

Press release from the issuing company

Berlin, April 16, 2007. DirectSmile announces the launch of the new DirectSmile Online edition. DirectSmile Online allows users to bring all of their DirectSmile image personalization applications to the Internet. The solution makes personalised images available for tasks such as online image previews, personalised websites, online shops, web-to-print-solutions, and e-mailing solutions. With DirectSmile Online personalised images are generated dynamically and can be retrieved through web services. DirectSmile Online enables users to manage all image sets in their browsers. Plus, it supports image personalised animations, a brand-new DirectSmile feature which will also be included in the soon to be released DirectSmile 3.2 Version. DirectSmile Online seamlessly integrates with all VDP or cross-media systems that the user has already in place or plans to set up. Axel Marciniak, Sales Director at DirectSmile says: “More and more of our customers realise the vast potential of integrating printed and online direct marketing. Once you start with image personalisation in print, bringing it online, is simply the next logical step. And there is huge demand from the market for cross-media applications. This ranges from B2C online portals for personalised greetings cards and gifts to integrated marketing campaigns. Whether offline, or online, DirectSmile enables you to use personalised images wherever you need them!” The Direct Smile Online edition includes the DirectSmile Online Controller and two Production Servers. It is now available direct from DirectSmile as well as through all DirectSmile resellers and distributors.
