Top speeds for image rendering DirectSmile launches new DirectSmile Production Edition

Tuesday, April 17, 2007

Press release from the issuing company

Berlin, April 16, 2007. DirectSmile presents the new Production Edition. The attractively priced package is designed especially for users who wish to achieve top image rendering speeds from the start. They will benefit from one of the key DirectSmile features: full scalability of any DirectSmile system at any time! Instead of increasing performance step by step by adding more servers, users who choose the Production Edition get a full-feature bundle that includes two additional server licences right from the start! The DirectSmile Production Edition includes all the features of the DirectSmile Generator such as an editor for image personalisation templates, VDP document solution, multiple driver output capabilities, and load balancing. Plus it comes with two additional Production Server licences for high-speed image and document rendering. Also included: an additional DirectSmile workstation which allows full functionality at another workplace or even for mobile use. “No matter what the volume of image personalisation or VDP jobs are that you want to produce, rendering speed simply isn’t an issue! With the DirectSmile Production Edition you are well-equipped to have a job consisting of 10,000 image processed in no time. Simply add more servers, at any point in time and even a job of a million copies can be handled with ease,” says Christoph Schacht, President DirectSmile. The DirectSmile Production Edition is now available directly from DirectSmile as well as through all DirectSmile resellers and distributors.
