Printing Association of Florida Hosts BBQ Event

Press release from the issuing company

Orlando -- May 7, 2008 -- Nearly 200 members of Florida's print and design community gathered at the 5th Annual "Roadkill" BBQ in Orlando, sponsored by the Printing Association of Florida (PAF). The event, which has increasingly become one of the most popular informal gatherings held by PAF, provided the opportunity for PAF members, non-members, and sponsors to interact in a casual venue. PAF is one of the most active and influential associations, with more than 500 graphic arts company members, in North America.

According to George Ryan, President and CEO of PAF, "We're really pleased with the turnout at this year's event. This casual event, combined with the success of  the Graphics of the Americas trade show that we sponsor, is evidence of the community's heightened interest in reaping the benefits of face-to-face networking."

In addition to its members, the PAF had a strong response from the design community at this year's event. Attendees came from as far north as Jacksonville and as far south as Miami. Attendees were treated to music provided by Think Big, sponsored by Fujifilm and MAN Roland. Additional sponsors included Mac Papers, Heidelberg, RDW Environmental, Clear Choice Laminating and Elegant Printing & Graphics Company, Inc.
