Call for Speakers for 2009 PODi AppForum

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, NY-April 30, 2008- PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announces it is accepting speaker submissions for the 2009 PODi AppForum. The annual event is January 19-21 in Las Vegas at The Rio Casino and Resort. Each year, hundreds of print service providers, marketing practitioners and other professionals attend the AppForum to take advantage of its unique educational and networking opportunities. All selected presenters receive one free registration to the 2009 PODi AppForum, so they can also take advantage of the educational sessions.

"A major attraction of the AppForum is the user-focused nature of the sessions. Our attendees count on learning new ideas and innovative techniques that will help them with their own digital printing projects and businesses. For our speakers, this is an opportunity for high visibility and to connect with motivated print and marketing service providers," said PODi President and CEO Rab Govil.

Qualified speakers who are interested in sharing their unique digital print stories, business insights, or technical experience may submit an application before June 30th, 2008. Regular sessions are an hour in length and can be in one of several formats: panel, case study, research results or tutorials. The pre-conference intensives cover subjects in more detail and will be presented in half-day sessions on Monday Jan 19th, 2009. New ideas as well as proposals geared to these topics are welcome:

• Sales and Strategies

• Direct Marketing

• Web to Print

• Pre-conference intensives

In addition, PODi is soliciting suggestions for inspiring keynotes focused on innovative digital printing. Industry professionals worthy of special recognition can be nominated for the Industry Pioneer session.

Speaker information and online application forms are available now at www.podi.org . Speaker applications must be received by June 30th, 2008. Questions can be directed to Christine DeLooze at [email protected].
