Benefits from visiting the Print4Life Lounge at drupa
The Print4Life Lounge provides an excellent opportunity to discuss fresh ideas for new applications from all market segments and provides you with business solutions for your customers.
Case studies and samples of newspapers and magazines provide new business opportunities for publishers. New technologies for Value Added Printing and Digital Printing stimulate ideas for product promotion and advertising.
Creative packaging designs and new technologies provide increased functionalities in areas such as food packaging and brand protection. And the convergence of print and electronics opens up additional application areas and new business opportunities for everyone.
Why a Print4Life Lounge?
Print Media users are the drivers for the printing industry. Print Buyers, Brand Owners, Designers and Publishers decide on the marketing mix determining where and how print is used. The Print4Life Lounge provides an ideal environment for them to meet with printers and their suppliers. The Lounge is dedicated to exchanging views on how print can add value to positioning, differentiation and branding in the market place. Case studies and samples feature new ideas for newspapers, packaging and commercial printing, with a special focus on Value Added Print technologies with the PRINTplusX project.
Major exhibitions such as drupa often quite rightly focus on 'technology', 'equipment' and 'materials' buyers. For drupa 2008 the PrintCity Alliance also wants to engage Print Buyers, Brand Owners, Designers and Publishers in discussion about the creative opportunities available through its members' technologies and knowledge.
This is why we are planning the special Print4Life Lounge within our PrintCity Plaza area in the centre of Hall 6.
This lounge is complementary to the aims of the separate 'drupacube' project and is focused towards international print buyers from all markets.
Print4Life Lounge activities during drupa include
- Personal meetings and briefings on the new capabilities of print and packaging technologies – singly or in combination. Contact events@printcity.de to request a meeting
- Group discussions about opportunities for Print Buyers, Brand Owners, Designers and Publishers – English & German languages plus others
- Special sessions are welcomed in conjunction with Print Buyer, Brand Owner, Design and Publishing magazines – various topics throughout drupa
Within the Print4Life Lounge the f.mp. (Fachverband Medienproduktioner) and the Hochschule der Medien are co-exhibiting with PrintCity.
