VistaPrint Expands European Printing and Distribution Plant

Press release from the issuing company

April 09, 2008 -- VistaPrint B.V., a subsidiary of VistaPrint Limited, the leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers, today announced that it has expanded its European printing and distribution plant in Venlo, the Netherlands. The newly expanded plant measures 13,000 square meters and is expected to employ 300 people by the end of 2008.

"VistaPrint continues to re-invest in the growth of the company and with more than 39 percent of our revenue originating outside the US in our 2008 second fiscal quarter, the expansion of our Venlo site is important to the future of VistaPrint," said VistaPrint COO Wendy Cebula. "Europe is VistaPrint's fastest growing market and as we continue to grow, both inside and outside of the US, our newly expanded plant will help us meet the demand."

VistaPrint's Venlo plant is responsible for the printing and distribution of orders throughout Europe and the Pacific Rim, which on a daily basis numbers in the thousands and range from business cards and postcards to self-inking stamps and T-Shirts. This plant expansion will enable VistaPrint to continue to service its growing customer base through a state-of-the-art automated manufacturing and distribution center. Worldwide, VistaPrint receives an average of 30,000 orders per day from its 19 websites and ships to more than 120 countries around the globe.

"VistaPrint is a shining example of the success international organizations can see when they locate key manufacturing centers in the Netherlands," said Frank Heemskerk, Minister for Foreign Trade from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. "Thanks to a centralized location, skilled workforce and favorable economic environment, VistaPrint has flourished in the Netherlands, servicing millions of customers around the globe."

VistaPrint is celebrating its expansion with a grand re-opening celebration on April 11th at 5 pm. The festivities will include speeches by VistaPrint's President and CEO Robert Keane, plant manager Bert Driessen as well as Commissioner of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) Bas Pulles, who will be speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. A representative from the Venlo City Council will be speaking as well. Food and music will be offered.

VistaPrint offers a number of high-quality, low-cost products including business cards, brochures, pre-inked stamps, calendars, magnets, T-Shirts, check printing and much more.
