Among hardware changes are lockable feeder side guides for added convenience in loading documents, an enhanced document printer offering improved print quality, and enhanced printer ink cartridges in black and red. “As the document imaging needs of our customers continue to evolve, so does our portfolio of products,” said Eric Olsen, Product Marketing Manager for Production Capture and Capture Software Products, US&C, Document Imaging, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “We not only add new product lines, but are consistently adding features and enhancements to existing products, all with the intention of not only meeting, but exceeding the needs of our customers.” Several firmware and driver changes have also been made. These include: - A new ISIS and TWAIN GUI - Blank Page Deletion - Support of MICROSOFT VISTA OS - An “add border” function in the auto-crop mode - Four new languages supported: Korean, Russian, Turkish, and Czech - Improved Multifeed Detection - Improved start time - Increased flexibility for output resolution combinations The i600 Series Scanners are backed by KODAK Service & Support, the benchmark service provider for the document imaging industry, named Best Support Organization in the 2006 International Business Awards.
