Industry Measure Ceases, Its Analysts Continue

Press release from the issuing company

April 04, 2008 -- Since 1995, The Industry Measure (formerly TrendWatch Graphic Arts) has served the printing, creative, publishing, and Internet design and development industries. But after more than a decade of its solid reputation for data accuracy, insights, and ability to anticipate industry changes, the long-time industry research firm has produced its last report.

As of March 31, 2008, The Industry Measure has closed. All of the company’s recent and historical reports will remain for sale on The Industry Measure website (www.theindustrymeasure.com) for the next several months.

While the future of The Industry Measure remains somewhat ambiguous, its chief writers and analysts—Richard Romano and Heidi Tolliver-Nigro—continue to be active in the industry and are embarking on a variety of exciting new projects and initiatives. Faithful readers of Richard Romano’s The Industry Measure blog can continue to access his distillation of relevant news, links, analysis, pithy comments, and snide remarks concerning graphic communications and media on his new blog, “Romano's Media Trends,” located at http://mediatrends.typepad.com.

To keep up to date on new research, reports, and other publications from Richard Romano and Heidi Tolliver-Nigro, please send a note to Debbie Papineau at [email protected], asking to be added to the emailing list.
