Printing Professionals Host Local Forum

Press release from the issuing company

Alexandria, VA – April 1, 2008 – Local Forums are part of the Regionalization Program that the Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) designed to facilitate local networking for print industry professionals. PSDA Regional Directors, who act as local liaisons for members, plan each Local Forum event which consists of plant tours, round table discussions, educational sessions and social outings. All Local Forums address unique needs for the local geographical areas, but also hit on other relevant industry topics, including new technology, marketing and industry trends.  Each region hosts 1 to 2 Local Forums annually for PSDA members and non-members to take part in year-round networking and learning opportunities.

“Local Forums provide more access and opportunities for both active members and those who may not otherwise participate in larger, national events,” said Brian Coats of MAR Graphics. “Even in today’s digital world people still deal with people to get business done.  Face to face meetings and networking are still the best methods to interact, sell, and learn. Local Forums are wonderful events for industry professionals to do this.”

PSDA realizes the importance of industry professionals meeting to discuss localized market trends. Local Forums facilitate those discussions while also providing an opportunity for attendees to expand their local contacts.  Upcoming Local Forums will be held in North Carolina at Acculink on April 3, in Philadelphia on April 23 after the FOCUS Trade Show in the Hilton Philadelphia City Area Hotel, and in New Jersey on May 13 at Paris Business Products.  For more information about each event, visit
