Southern Lithoplate Appoints New Western Strategic Accounts Manager

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (July 14, 2008) -- To support sales growth in the newspaper printing market, Southern Lithoplate, Inc. announces the appointment of Gil Green as Western Strategic Accounts Manager. He will be responsible for working with established newspaper accounts and prospective clients to build Southern Lithoplate's market position through strategic offerings.

Gil brings to his new position more than 32 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, including 23 years in sales of hardware and consumable products to both the commercial printing and newspaper markets. In his previous positions, Gil was instrumental in improving customer relations and cultivating sales opportunities.

His background and knowledge of analog and digital technologies are great assets. He has a proven record of introducing focused solutions that increase productivity and profitability in prepress workflow, computer-to-plate systems, processing solutions and lithoplates."

Most recently, Gil spent seven years with Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging U.S.A., Inc., where he sold computer-to-film recorders, CtP devices and consumables. He earned the coveted President's Gold Circle award four out of seven years. Prior to that, he consecutively served in positions as West Coast Sales Representative for ECRM Imaging Systems and Systems Sales Manager for Polychrome.

Gil resides with his wife, Shay, and son, Ryan, in Quartz Hill, Calif.
