The MATLET Group Now Offers Logistics Services

Press release from the issuing company

PAWTUCKET, R.I., July 14  -- The MATLET Group has added a new division called TMG Logistics LLC, a third-party domestic transportation broker specializing in the management of truckload, less-than-truckload, expedited and other types of shipments.

For the past year, TMG Logistics provided services internally to The MATLET Group's Northeast facilities. The division is now a new company ready to offer the same services to The MATLET Group's customer base. TMG Logistics will collaborate with The MATLET Group's clients as well as companies in the paper, printing and packaging industries to provide total logistics solutions that are cost-effective and streamline processes.

"Providing logistics and transportation solutions to other local companies creates a growth opportunity for The MATLET Group," says Gary Stiffler, The MATLET Group's CEO. "Having a robust transportation function increases our every-day volume enabling us to offer cost-efficiencies and bring greater value to our customers."

Leading this new division are Bob Chaves, President, and Victor Antolini, Logistics Supervisor. Together they bring over 24 years of logistics and transportation experience to The MATLET Group. Before joining the company, Mr. Chaves was at Quebecor World Logistics, and Mr. Antolini was at DHL Express.

"Other companies can now leverage our expertise, relationships and shipping volume to streamline their shipping process," says Mr. Chaves. "Our goal is to partner with our clients to help them better manage their shipping function."

TMG Logistics will be headquartered in Wilmington MA.
