X-Solutions Digidocflow Passes Ricoh's Compatibility Testing

Press release from the issuing company

West Caldwell, NJ,   July 10, 2008 - Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, announced today that X-Solutions, a provider of easy-to-use digital archiving software joins Ricoh's Technology Alliance Program as a bronze member. Additionally, DigiDocFlow produced by X-Solutions was successfully integrated into Ricoh's MFP platform using Ricoh's Embedded Software Architecture (ESA). After the solution was completed by X-Solutions it was submitted and passed Ricoh's extensive Compatibility Testing program. Mutual customers of X-Solutions and Ricoh can now enjoy a fully integrated and robust digital archiving solution providing users with greater value for their solutions investment.

Ideal for small and medium sized businesses, DigiDocFlow provides a simplified scanning interface for all Ricoh multifunction products (MFPs) capable of using ESA. Users now have the ability to create a digital archive by scanning directly from their existing Ricoh MFP. In order to increase organizational efficiencies scanned files are stored as text searchable PDFs allowing for fast retrieval by searching for a key word or phrase. Due to DigiDocFlow's intuitive interface, integration is seamless since DigiDocFlow is a middleware solution that runs on MFPs already familiar to the user, reducing the amount of training necessary. Customers can also scan to various locations, including network folders, e-mail addresses, fax machines and printers, all with one scan action.

"Adding value and creating a positive user experience is what we want to provide with our products," said Susan Laneres, Channel Marketing Manager for DigiDocFlow at X-Solutions. "An ideal business partner, Ricoh aims to deliver the same level of customer satisfaction and we look forward to working in tandem to deliver valuable document management solutions to the marketplace."

There are two divisions within the Alliance Program, the Strategic Alliance Program and the Technology Alliance Program. X-Solutions has joined the Technology Alliance Program, which is comprised of third party software, and hardware companies that specialize in niche solution offerings that complement Ricoh hardware and software technologies. X-Solutions is also part of the Ricoh Developer Program (RiDP) that provides Independent Software Vendors, with access to the support, tools and services needed to integrate solutions with Ricoh hardware and software products.

"Ricoh is pleased to welcome X-Solutions into the Technology Alliance Program," said Hede Nonaka, executive vice president, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "This alliance further enhances our product and service offerings as it promotes ease-of-use to our existing MFPs and effectively addresses the needs of our customers."
