ECRM MAKO NEWSmatic

Ideal for all popular single-width newspaper presses (from Berliner to Goss); the MAKO NEWSmatic accommodates the widest range of web widths up to a maximum format of 635mm x 927mm (25 x 36.5).  The fully automated MAKO NEWSmatic provides enhanced levels of simplicity, versatility and economy and is the ideal transition to unattended CTP production for newspapers. The MAKO NEWSmatic is part of a family of automated CTP for newspapers that produce from 60 to 150 broadsheet plates per hour.

ECRMs high-capacity plate cassette and trolley can hold up to 340 8-gauge (0.2mm) plates or 250 12-gauge (0.3mm) plates at one time.  By designing a straight-through plate path, complex load/unload cycles have been eliminated. Using ECRMs patented Flex-Arm slip sheet removal system, sensors track slip sheets through pick-up, removal and disposal, ensuring fast throughput and superior reliability. The high-capacity slip sheet bin was engineered with a tamping mechanism that ensures a jam-free unattended operation

To provide added flexibility, the optical configuration includes eight resolutions from 1016 to 2540 dpi and three anamorphic resolution sets (1016 x 2032 dpi, 1200 x 2400 dpi, and 1270 x 2540 dpi).
