WEST CHICAGO, Illinois, May 6, 2008 – Richard Breen, Chairman and CEO of Central Ink Corporation, was recently honored by the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) with its Printing Ink Pioneer Award for a career in the ink industry that has spanned more than 60 years.  The prestigious Pioneer Award is given to individuals who have served the industry and their companies for many years.

"Mr. Breen has held about every position in our company," said Doug Anderson, Vice President of Operations at CIC.  "He has been President and CEO for the last twenty years and led our company through many years of double digit growth." He has guided his company's expansion from letterpress and heatset inks into news, sheetfed, and UV markets and has spurred his company's sales from $6 million to more than $75 million today.
