Harlequin RIP Special Offer Announced For Graph Expo

Monday, October 27, 2008

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago IL, October 26, 2008: Global Graphics has announced a Harlequin RIP special offer to coincide with Graph Expo.  If visitors buy or upgrade their Harlequin RIP to the most recent version - the Harlequin PLUS Server RIP (v.8.0) - they can earn up to 25% discount off all complementary Harlequin RIP products.  The offer runs until 30 November and anyone requesting an upgrade to their RIP via harlequin.com, the interactive
community and online store for Harlequin RIP users, will also receive Global Graphics' award winning Jaws PDF Creator free of charge.

"We believe that the Harlequin RIP is already the best value tool on the market for pre-press and digital printing",  says Paul Hagen, Global Graphics' director of RIP sales. "The products that are on special offer save time and money by offering additional enhancements to the RIP. For example, our simple imposition for two-up and four-up conventional and digital print provides an extremely cost effective imposition tool
integrated into the RIP for small and medium format output devices.

"The Harlequin RIP makes economic sense in many other ways too", he continues: "the same RIP can be used for proofing, outputting to CtP or to your digital press and wide format printer.  This reduces operating and training costs while insuring consistency in output .  Also, with the Harlequin RIP print shops don't need to worry about how they receive files from their customers, and how they need to process those files because the
Harlequin PLUS Server RIP processes PostScript, XPS and PDF files natively in one RIP engine so you can print multiple file formats with a consistent high-quality result.  Printers don't need to flatten transparencies either because the Harlequin RIP has handled live transparency since Version 6.0 in 2002."

For details of the special offer print shops should either register to upgrade their  RIP at www.harlequin.com or contact their preferred dealer or reseller.
