October 1, 2007 -- Brea, Ca. -- Dual Graphics has become a Certified Chain of Custody recipient by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) for the Forest Stewardship Council.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organization that brings people together to find solutions which encourage responsible stewardship of the world's forests. The FSC promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests and forest products.
This certification process audits the "Chain of Custody" of FSC certified products through the printing process assuring that purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing protocols are maintained and followed. Certification permits Dual Graphics use of the FSC logo on printed products meeting the rigorous standards as set by FSC and identifying the certified forest product content.
